Its a great review. I would buy the book, if it did not look it little bit to much like what Broad and Newstrom wrote in their book on transfer.
I find myself slightly disappointed to read these elements again, 15 years after Broad and Newstrom wrote their book on transfer of training.
What is happening in the field of HRD, that training developers and buyers need to be reminded that training does not stop at the door of the classroom?

Or does the HRD field need to start using marketing techniques to sell transfer to the market?

I think this kind of blindness is endemic in our field for two reasons, because we have so little understanding of the basics of human learning, and because we rarely evaluate our performance.

Mississauga Condos for Sale

I think The author’s emphasis is on the complete experience, but the shorthand version “Design” connotes the traditional instructional-design notion of design—a notion completely inadequate; as the authors argue persuasively in the actual text.
